PhotoShop Beta Generative Ai Tests
I had a chance to mess around with the new Generative AI tools in the Photoshop Beta v24.6 last week, and decided to try them out on some famous films.
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the integration. It's very easy/fast to generate, and everything it creates comes on its own layer, so you can make adjustments to your heart's content afterward.
Adobe claims they are training all these tools ethically, but who really knows how they are feeding them behind the scenes? If it's true, though, and they can prove it, then this might be the first major step forward commercially for generative AI. It could potentially open the floodgates in our industry, for better or worse, so I would encourage everyone to keep a close eye on it in the coming months.
