GO MECHA GIANT!

As Head of Compositing at Guru Studio, I helped with early look and pipeline development for Mecha Builders, this included figuring out how the characters would look in the final show, developing tools and workflows for artists as well as the backend prod. This was Guru’s first true HDR project, so there was also a lot of work involved with testing and updating our pipeline to meet HBOs strict specifications. Thanks to Guru’s top notch team, It all went fairly smoothly, despite being in the middle of a pandemic. After the early tests were done, I served as compositing supervisor for the first half of the season
